c) Discussion - What is the direction that Millgrove is going? Ideally, it would be at the point of instruction - in the classroom, in the halls, in the library, wherever and whatever device using - laptops, chrome book, WIFI, iPads, personal devices,
We are not there yet so right now we will go ahead and make two mini-labs to try to allow for maximim use of the laptops.
d) Chrome Books - Muir Lake School - students have purchased their own and ML has also bought 12 Chrome books.
e) WiFi - If you are not able to get on, please contact Sharon Lundeen.
2. Report Cards
2 prints are there for you to look at.
Covers/spines - not necessary for next year. Needless expense and a hassle to get them all returned.
3. Christmas Activities
a) Christmas Concert - "Melton the Warm Hearted Snowman" - concert time may be earlier. 6:30 start? Access to the stage at 6:00 pm. Parents drop off at 6:15. Assigned seating instead of rush seating? Cast A Wednesday, Cast B Thursday.
No tickets issued for grade one and kinder morning concerts.
Music and lyrics are on the J drive.
Changes are being made in the music timetable.
b) Christmas Hampers (classrooms/office) and Food Bank ( Christmas concerts)
c) Carol Sing - Monday, Wednesday, Friday - am
d) Little Mermaid
e) Buddy Activities/ Class Activities/Christmas parties - As there is a lot of of activities, please be mindful of your students' (and possibly your) need for structure, routine and learning.
